How we handle your information.

• What information we collect

  If you fill out the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, and the details you share about your project. That's it. We do not run analytics, advertising, or behaviour-tracking scripts on this site, so we are not silently collecting browsing data in the background.

• Why we collect it

  One reason only: so we can reply to your inquiry and discuss the project you are asking about. We do not use this information for marketing lists, do not sell it to anyone, and do not share it with third parties beyond the service providers that handle our email and website infrastructure.

• How long we keep it

  Project inquiries that do not turn into work are kept for up to 12 months in case the conversation resumes, then deleted. For clients we do work with, we keep relevant correspondence for the duration of the project plus seven years for accounting and record-keeping purposes required by Canadian tax law.

• Third parties involved

  The site is hosted on Netlify (a US-based hosting provider), and form submissions are processed through Netlify Forms, which means your submitted information is briefly stored on Netlify's infrastructure before being forwarded to our email. We use Google Fonts to load typefaces, which means Google may receive your IP address when the page loads. We use no other third-party services on this site.

• Your rights

  You can ask us at any time to see what information we have about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it entirely. Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and Alberta's PIPA) and similar laws in other jurisdictions, these rights are yours by default. To exercise them, email inquire@foregrounddesigns.com. We aim to respond within 7 business days.

• Cookies

  This site does not set tracking cookies. Your browser may store small technical items required for the site to work (loading fonts, remembering you closed the mobile menu) but nothing that identifies you or follows you between sites. Because there is no tracking, there is no cookie banner.

• Changes to this policy

  If we add new services or change how we handle data, we will update this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we will note them on the home page for a reasonable period.
